2018 so far!
There’s a lot happening in the world of Working Equitation in WA at the moment. This new and upcoming sport is certainly popular.
Let’s start with the clubs.
Brookleigh Working Equitation club is full of members and holding regular clinics, rallies and events. The Brookleigh Club is even holding their first training competition on the 29th of April. This is great for riders and judges who need more experience.
Wheatbelt Working Equitation Club and Capel Adult Riders are moving forward with their affiliation and club formation. There has also been interest in a Serpentine Working Equitation group. Please contact Lisa (click here) if you are interested. Keep your ears peeled for future clubs. If you are interested in forming a club or affiliating a current one contact ANWE WA.
Clinics and training days are happening regularly. Most recently the Albany District Riders hosted a two day clinic with Sue Buckley. Eight riders had morning and afternoon equitation lesson, as well as, a theory lesson. All obstacles were on show and provided much entertainment for the Albany riders. Sue will also be demonstrating our great sport to Gidgegannup Equestrian Association in April. If you are interested in learning more about the sport or having a clinic at your club please contact the state body ANWEWA.
Keep up to date by following ANWE WA on Facebook or becoming a member of your state body.
