• Statewide coordination of Working Equitation events and Judges Clinics.
• Ongoing support and clear guidelines with rule books updated and kept in conduit with ANWE (our national body).
• Access to rule books and amendments, obstacle course maps, dressage tests, cattle welfare checklists, horse welfare guidelines, and risk management resources and support.
• Access to eastern states and overseas instructors for special clinics.

HOW TO BEGIN
TO AFFILIATE YOUR LOCAL WORKING EQUITATION CLUB WITH ANWE WA
If you’re considering starting your own working equitation club, begin by viewing this Guide to Starting Your Club.
(1) Form a Committee. Ideally you will have at least 5 to 10 like-minded people.
(2) Name your Club. You can view the current ANWE WA affiliated clubs here.
(3) Become an ‘Incorporated Association’. This is complete via the Department of Commerce to ensure your Club is recognised as a legal entity within WA.
(4) Obtain Insurance. Insurance is available from various sources; however most Clubs are affiliated with Equestrian Western Australia to obtain insurance with Marsh Pty Ltd. Further information and templates are available through ANWEL’s Club Support Pack (Section 6 – Insurance).
(5) Affiliate your Club. Download and complete the documents below:
Please note Clubs are requested to propose a delegate(s) to form the general committee for ANWE WA. Clubs can have up to three (3) delegates with one or two attending meetings. Their role is to attend committee meetings to contribute to ANWE WA business and to relay club queries and updates. Meetings are mostly held by phone/video conference monthly with urgent decisions between meetings handled via email.
(6) Submit Documents. Club Affiliate EOI form and MOU documents are submitted to ANWE WA Secretary via secretary@anwewa.com.
