Entrance gate much remain closed whilst there are horses on the grounds.

No driving around the arena when horses are on the grounds.

First class starts at 9.00am (subject to change depending on numbers)

PHASES

Introductory – Level 1 Training
Preparatory – Level 2 Training
Preliminary – Level 3 Competition
Debutante W – Level 4 Competition
Debutante F – Level 5 Competition – on request only

 
Introductory level will include 1 x dressage test and 2 x Ease of Handling tests.
All other levels will include 1 x dressage test, 1 x Ease of Handling, and 1 x speed test.
HELPER DUTIES:
Working Equitation is a labour-intensive sport. All riders will be required to help on the day. You can nominate a helper to do your duty. Helper Duties will be allocated according to draw times. Draws and Ease of Handling maps will be sent via email several days before the competition.

 

COSTS:
$80

$10 Ground Fee (GEA/GDC/GHPC Members exempt)
$15 Competition/Day Membership*

*payable on Global with entry (GEA or EWA Members exempt)
Competitors who are not members of GEA or EWA are required to complete and submit a Competition/Day Membership form.
A Waiver Form is required to be completed and submitted for competitors who are not members of GEA or EWA
 

OPEN ENTRIES:

1. All riders must be financial members of ANWE.

2. The 3 phase competition will be run under the current ANWE Rules 2022 V4.
3. Riders should refer to the Rule Book and enter at an appropriate level for themselves and their horse.
4. All riders must be a financial member of GEA or EWA (Adult Riding/Participant/Competitor membership) Otherwise GEA competition membership is available to non-GEA/EWA members. You will need to complete the GEA Membership form and pay the $15 fee and MUST include a signed waiver with your entry. (Located on website)
5. All riders under 18 years must be a member of EWA to compete. GEA Competition Membership is NOT available.
6. Attire and Tack as per the ANWE Rule Book. Helmets must be tagged as per EA requirements. Helmets must be worn when lunging, taking part in groundwork and whilst mounted. Gloves are recommended for lunging and groundwork.

 

STABLES will be available;
to be booked at time of entry on Global. Please clean your stable after use and drop at manure pit near stables and pick up manure in car park.

STALLIONS experienced at coping in group environments are welcome however you MUST apply to the organisers prior to submitting your entry and EA Stallion Guidelines must be adhered to 

 

OPEN EVENTS / TRAINING DAYS Cancellation Policy:

If a participant cancels prior to the closing date, a refund will be issued.

If a participant wishes to cancel after the closing date, a 50% refund will be given upon presentation of a vet/doctor’s certificate. The vet/doctor’s certificate must be presented within 7 days of cancellation or it will not be accepted.
