A sensational Day 1 at Gidgegannup, hosted by Gidgegannup Equestrian Association. There was a great atmosphere with so much co-operation and understanding between the clubs. How good it was to see four clubs represented in the results.
Day 2’s cattle phase at Valley Views Equestrian Park, Chittering, certainly ignited inspiration in those waiting to compete and those watching! A fun morning with our three teams of three riders. Scratchings reduced the numbers from four but not the enthusiasm. Disappointment for those that timed out when the steers just would not go where the riders wanted and triumph for those that penned them at the other end with the help of their team. Our thanks to Kath Smith acting as the fourth rider and blocker on the containment line for all teams and with husband Jimmy they made this cattle phase competition possible. We can’t forget the photogenic cattle!
